My son, Gates, and I are flying to Lisbon this week. He's got two weeks off, so we chose a city/country neither of us had previously visited.
When I visited Greece last spring, I used DK Top 10 Athens. It worked out really well as a source for sights but also for what to see when you were at one of them.
So for this trip, I chose the one for Lisbon, and it's been terrific for planning. I also like that it fits perfectly in the side pocket of my Travelon purse.
