We took a short tour of the plantation house and then explored the grounds. Unfortunately, no photography was permitted in the house.
Majestic live oaks, named as such because their leaves stay green, were everywhere.
I spotted some resurrection ferns growing on the oaks. These ferns appear to be dead and lifeless but "resurrect" when it rains.
You can buy a live oak sapling if you want!
At the end of the tour, we were treated to a mint julep.
