The best exhibit I've seen so far (and one of the top ten ever) is this one by Britta Marakatt-Labba. Her work consists of tiny embroidery and/or applique stitches on linen. It's hard to show her unusual and impactful work in my photos, but her themes are preserving migration, her culture, and her homeland. In a way, it was a stunning plea for help to save her culture and the world.
