Rain pelted the windows at breakfast, but the reward was this gorgeous rainbow.
After breakfast, we took a bus to the top natural and cultural history museum in Hawaii - the Bishop Museum.
There were many, many exhibits. Here are just a few that caught my eye.
This sperm whale hung from the ceiling of the third floor and could be seen from the atrium below.

Sugar cane machete
Hawaiians were firmly against annexation, and they fought it with the anti-annexation movement.
Fascinating exhibits on canoes were in several different rooms.
I liked this thought process.
