On to Tadoussac by way of Montmorency Falls

We checked out of the hotel after lunch and boarded our bus for Tadoussac

with a stop at Montmorency Falls.

Our costumed guide had lots of information about the history and lore of the area.

The falls are 272.3 feet high, a full 98.4 feet taller than Niagara Falls,
but much narrower. Still spectacular.

This rainbow was especially pretty.

After Montmorency Falls, we reboarded the bus to travel to Tadoussac where we'll spend the next four nights. This is a small town on the way.

The free Tadoussac–Baie-Sainte-Catherine ferry travels across the Saguenay River to Tadoussac.
The 15 minute ride gave us a chance to enjoy the beautiful views and snap some pictures.

The light was perfect for this photo.
