More views as we made our way to Zurich:
As we left St. Moritz, the mist drifted down from the mountains. It reminded me of Alaska.
Today's route:
We were upgraded to first class today. All the trains were comfortable, but today's had even more room and a dome car.

The above photo is our train. I was able to capture the photo as it went around one of the numerous curves on the route.
The photo above shows the wooden structures that were often seen on the hills. I think these barriers direct drifting snow to a more desirable place - possibly away from roads or railways.
The photo of our train going around the bend reminds me so much of the illustration of the night train to the North Pole in Chris Van Allsburg's "Polar Express".
